Now the Horde hunt is on again.
As KOM24 was the first newspaper to mention, last year tens of thousands of Norwegians went out into the woods and fields to look for NOK 1.1 million deployed by the Horde.
Now the Horde hunt is on again. Somewhere in Norway, the company has now hidden close to NOK 1.1 million.
The amount symbolizes the number of people with interest-bearing credit card and consumer debt in Norway.
Last year’s winners, Sigurd Sundklakk and Hans Inge Josdal, met in the forest during the Horde hunt. Their joint decision to work together was crucial to finding the box.
Alf Gunnar Andersen, general manager of Horde, reflects on the success:
– The hunt last year was incredibly fun and created a lot of engagement. Through the hunt, we were able to focus on a persistently important and topical problem: consumer debt among Norwegians. This is the reason why we are doing it again, he says in a press release and continues:
– The Horde fans wanted a new hunt – many thought it was fun to search in nature. The feeling of treasure hunting brings excitement and a kind of nostalgia back to childhood. The horde hunt is an experience we would like to repeat this year as well.
Participants are encouraged to follow a live stream of the tax office. The Horde app can be used to receive clues about the location of the till.
Additional hints will be shared through Horde’s newsletter. For those who really want to increase their chances, the Horde Plus service offers a special assistant who can tell which hints are out. They can discuss hints with the AI assistant “Jaktus”.
