“Today’s situation feels more violent than the previous two days. Russia should have launched a general attack. The raid may happen at any time, and the duration of the attack will vary. The artillery fire just now was particularly intense,” he said.

Feng Jun introduced that they went to the air-raid shelter on the 24th and 25th. Now the first floor of the dormitory is used as a refuge area. The structure of the house is relatively solid. When you hear the air defense alarm, you can go to the first floor. It takes five or six minutes to run to the subway for refuge. Even if you go out, don’t take the main road, because the main road can always become a battlefield.

The more than 30 people in the dormitory are divided into six groups, and four to five people are grouped together. Feng Jun said that most people are now requesting to return to China because the current situation in Ukraine is indeed not very clear. They filled out an evacuation registration to return to China, but there is no specific time for the evacuation.

“Everyone is eagerly waiting for a result, that is, when will the overseas Chinese be evacuated? There have been power outages and disconnection of the Internet in some areas, and there is still a sense of panic now.

“I hope to evacuate the overseas Chinese as soon as possible. Some students think that the embassy does not move so quickly. If the registration should be completed within one day, why should the registration be divided into three days? Some people have already registered. Our biggest wish is to evacuate. Overseas Chinese, it is indeed very difficult because many people have not returned to China since the outbreak of the epidemic in 2020,” he said.

It is strange that the Chinese embassy has not evacuated overseas Chinese

Russian troops launched an attack on Ukraine in the early morning of February 24. Until the official website of the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine issued a notice in the early morning of February 25th to prepare to evacuate the overseas Chinese in batches by chartered flights, the registration time will end at 12:00 local time on Sunday, February 27th.

On the first day of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the Chinese embassy in Ukraine issued a statement suggesting that local Chinese citizens and Chinese-funded enterprises “can affix the Chinese flag on the body”, and on February 26, they changed their words and said, “Don’t reveal your identity at will. and display an identifying mark”.
