The cruise of the “MS Amadea” (start: September 9, 2024, Bremerhaven) may be the last for the dream ship – and Florian Silbereisen.
Florian Silbereisen is back on track: From January 8th to February 1st, 2024, he and the “Dream Ship” team traveled from Italy via Portugal, St. Barth, the Netherlands Antilles, Colombia, Panama, Ecuador to film to Peru. While “The Dream Ship: Phuket” will be broadcast in Germany on Easter Sunday (March 31st), filming will continue on the next trip of the “MS Amadea”. From March 16th to April 11th on the journey from Manaus (Brazil) via French Guiana, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Barbados, Portugal to Bremerhaven.

Two more dates are mentioned there: June 9th to June 27th, 2024: “On a long journey to Iceland, Spitsbergen and Norway”. And June 27th to July 15th, 2024: “The great Baltic Sea trip for connoisseurs”. Schlager.de asked: When will the next trips with the “ZDF dream ship” take place? They first checked whether the information on their own site was kept up to date. And, actually: no further dates are known.
Unusual. Because a cruise is not something for last minute travelers. Schlager.de researched further. The cruise operator Phoenix Seereisen confirmed: After the Baltic Sea trip from Bremerhaven from/to Bremerhaven, there are no further dates with “dream ship” filming…

So what is the future of Florian Silbereisen alias Captain Max Parger and the “ZDF dream ship”? ZDF has to know. But I haven’t wanted to say anything about it for almost five months. Schlager.de had already asked in September 2023, among other things, whether Florian Silbereisen would also be seen in possible episodes of “Traumschiff” in 2025 and 2026. So far only so much that Silbereisen “will definitely be available for the planned filming until 2024”.
