Alberto Prado y Sergio Vallejo They closed in 2023 after having published “Us” (Esmerarte, 23), their first album, and this year they release it by publishing a new single titled “Characters”.
Under the name of “Characters”the electronic music duo Galician Army joins forces with two other Galician artists, Great love y Future Mayor, in a hooligan and unpious song that has punk influences. They do it to, in the words of the DJs themselves, offer “a different proposal from everything we had published in 2023”. They define the topic as “direct, forceful and unpretentious. A song to let off steam, scream and dance, marked by an aggressive bass line that reinforces the character of the unmistakable voices of Nuno and Fernando”.

For its part, Fernandosinger of Future Mayorconfesses that “We are people who don’t go around with many metaphors in life and it was no different in music. “The lyrics of this song come from storing personal experiences that make us very angry.”.
The song was already presented live on January 13 at the Ochoymedio club in Madrid, where Galician Army It held its first session in the capital, and now it can be enjoyed on all platforms. Likewise, the song is accompanied by a video clip made by Alex Gatowhich was filmed at the Clavicémbalo Club, and can now be enjoyed on the official YouTube channel of the Galician duo.
Galician Army will be present at the festival Port Americaand they will soon announce more dates for 2024.
