German Chancellor Merkel visits the Holocaust Memorial Hall and says Germany has a responsibility to remember crimes
CCTV News: German Chancellor Merkel visited the Yad Vahim Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem on October 10. She also held talks with Israeli Prime Minister Bennett on the same day. This visit is considered to be Merkel’s “farewell visit” before leaving office.
On the same day, Merkel laid a wreath at the Yadwahim Holocaust Memorial Hall to mourn the 6 million Jews killed by the Nazis.
