– Fritz fell asleep quietly, she says to the German newspaper.
Wepper died on Monday morning, and was visited by his wife and their 12-year-old daughter regularly before he died. He is said to have received treatment at a hospice in Bavaria for a month, after receiving palliative treatment, writes NRK.
The German crime series “Derrick” was produced between 1974 and 1998, and consisted of a total of 19 seasons.
Derrick solved his cases using cool logic, and by today’s pace things went rather smoothly as the criminal cases unraveled in 70s, 80s and 90s Munich. Once Derrick and Klein had completed their crime scene investigation or spoken to an important witness, the detective turned to his assistant:
– Harry, hol schon mal den Wagen, was usually modest. Or in Norwegian: Harry, get the car.
Horst Tappert died aged 85 in 2008.
