HE na Drina volleyball players from Višegrad will compete in the First League of Republika Srpska from next season, after beating Glasinac from Sokoc 3:1.
At the final tournament of the Second League of the Republika Srpska for women volleyball players, which ended tonight in Višegrad, Ivana Plećić from HPP on the Drina was declared the best player of the tournament.
Jovo Sarić, sports director of the Volleyball Club of HE on the Drina, said that the goal had been met and that this was a great success for Visegrad volleyball.
“We will try to prepare well for the next season so that it will not be a short stay in the First League of Republika Srpska. We think that with its quality, and that this city deserves it together with us.” pointed out Sarić.

Team captain Natalija Filipovac said that the decisive match was very difficult and uncertain, but that the women from Višegrad managed to fulfill their goal.
“I would like to congratulate my teammates for the effort they put in to achieve this success, and I also congratulate the opposing team for a fair fight,” pointed out Filipovac.
The best player of the tournament, Ivana Plećić, thanked for the title awarded to her and said that she was very proud, but that all of this would not have happened without her players and the club.
“Everyone together did their best to achieve this success,” emphasized Plećić.
The cup was presented to the new first league player by a member of the Board of Directors of the Volleyball Federation of Republika Srpska, Ivana Nikolić from Rogatica.
