BEIJING – A historic agreement to counter the North Korean nuclear threat. Thus the United States and South Korea present the “Washington Declaration”, signed in the White House by the US president Joe Biden and by the leader of Seoul Yoon Suk-yeol, for days on a state visit to the USA.

Washington pledges to strengthen the American nuclear umbrella vis-à-vis its Asian ally.
