The “Joint Celebration of Return to Show Care” plan coordinated by the Home Affairs Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government held a launching ceremony in Wong Tai Sin District on June 11. After the launching ceremony, Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, accompanied by the Acting Secretary for Home Affairs of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Mr. Chan Chik-chi, the Chairman of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Mr. Chan Nam-lok, and Wong Tai Sin’s Home Affairs Commissioner, Mr. Wong Chi-wah, started a home visit activity. Single-parent families and ethnic minority families, learn about their daily life and needs, and distribute gift packs to them to share the joy of the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland.
