Iceland champion of gender equality denounced by NGOs for violence against women

Rape and violence against women, Icelandic unknown tragedy. Incredible, but true. To tell is Steinun Gudjonsdóttir, number one of Stigoma, one of the three most active feminist NGOs together with Extremes e MeToo Islanda in the model country – according to UN estimates – for female status and gender equality. A problem so strong that the three NGOs have denounced their country to the European Court of Human Rights for the inefficiency of the authority in defending women from the violent.
