Five people were killed on Saturday at a military base in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, in an attack carried out by a Somali soldier: among those killed were officials from the Somali and United Arab Emirates armies. At the military base, known as Gordon, a plan training for the Somali army by United Arab Emirates soldiers, part of an agreement with Somalia. The man, known only by his name Ahmedwas a Somali soldier who had recently finished training: according to what reported a Reuters by an Emirati official, allegedly started shooting while the other soldiers were praying.
