The intention to pay zakat fitrah for oneself and one’s family is a condition for implementing zakat fitrah. It is best to pay this zakat fitrah a day or two before Eid al-Fitr.

Regarding that, the time to issue zakat fitrah is explained in one of the hadith narrations that reads. “And Ibnu Umar RA gave zakat al-fitr to those who were entitled to receive it and he paid his zakat a day or two before Eid al-Fitr.” (HR Bukhari)

In addition, the order to pay zakat is mentioned in surah At Taubah verse 103. Allah SWT said,

Nevertheless, citing Ramadan and Hari Raya Worship Guidelines by M. Nielda and R. Syamsul, giving zakat through amil requires carrying out the zakat handover stage. Amil receives zakat, then Amil guides the giver to read the intention of zakat fitrah

Amil was able to end it with reciting a prayer to receive zakat. The purpose is for the worship of those who give zakat during Ramadan to be accepted by Allah SWT.
