Intentions of Tasbih Prayer, Procedures, Readings, and Priorities for Muslims

1. Weighting the scales of good deeds in the afterlife

Praising Allah is believed to be able to weigh the scale of good deeds in the afterlife. If you diligently read the rosary, your good deeds will be weighed.

“The Messenger of God said, there are two sentences that are both light on the tongue but weigh heavily on the scales of good deeds and both are liked by Ar-Rahman, namely Subhanallahi wa bi hamdihi subhanallahil azhim’.” (HR. Bukhari and Muslim)

2. Tasbih is the best sentence in the sight of Allah SWT

Once, the Prophet SAW was asked by a friend about the best speech. He replied, ‘What Allah SWT commanded His angels and servants to say is Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi’. (HR. Muslim)

3. Abandon sin

“The Messenger of God said, whoever says Subhanallahi wa bi hamdihi 100 times, then Allah will remove the mistake even if the mistake is as much as the foam of the ocean.” (HR. Bukhari and Muslim)

4. Have savings in the form of a date palm garden in heaven

“Whoever says Subhanallahil azhimi wa bi hamdihi, he will have a date palm planted in heaven.” (HR. at-Tirmidhi)

5. Weapons to face the food crisis at the end of time

In the end times, tasbih sentences will be like nutritious and healthy food for Muslims.

“The Messenger of Allah said, the food of believers at the time of the emergence of the Dajjal will be the food of the angels, namely prayer beads and taqdis. So whoever whose words at that time are prayer beads, Allah will eliminate hunger from him.” (HR. al-Hakim).
