LONDRA – “NATO is engaged in a proxy war against us”, the Russian Foreign Minister said two days ago Sergei Lavrov, admonishing that this contributes to “considerably” increase the risk of a nuclear war between Moscow and the West. Other Russian officials warn that the reaction may include attacks on “Western decision-making centers in Kiev”, a reference to the apparent presence of Western military advisers and instructors in Ukraine, or even against NATO countries from which arms are delivered to Ukraine.
