TEL AVIV – Homo Nesher Ramla: this is the name of the new species of prehistoric man identified in Israel, hitherto unknown to science, which seems to constitute the missing link in the chain of human evolution. A discovery that could overturn the conception of the evolution of prehistoric man as it was known until now. According to scholars from Tel Aviv University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Homo Nesher Ramla constitutes a supergroup from which several human strains emerged in the Middle Pleistocene, including Neanderthal man.
