Israel claimed to have thwarted attacks that Hamas was planning abroad and revealed key information

Israeli Intelligence reported that Hamas was planning a series of attacks abroad, which it managed to thwart thanks to joint work with agencies around the world. ā€œThe terrorist organization Hamas is working to advance attacks against targets in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, under the command of senior leaders of the organization,ā€ the Mossad and the Shin Bet indicated in a statement in which they also presented key information about the groupā€™s command structure.

Many of the leaders of the Palestinian terrorist group are dead, sought by the police, or under arrest, following operations in Lebanon, Copenhagen, and Berlin. Israeli Intelligence revealed that they thwarted a plan to attack its Embassy in Sweden and another aimed at killing innocent civilians on European soil. It was also reported that the foreign arm of Hamas had advanced with the acquisition of unmanned aerial vehicles and cooperation with other terrorist groups, suggesting further plans for attacks.

In response to the thwarted attacks, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the fight ā€œwill not stop either because of The Hague or because of the threats from the axis of the wrong,ā€ referring to South Africaā€™s complaint against him before the International Court of Justice and Iranian support for militias in the region. Netanyahu assured the people that they are on the path to victory and will not stop until they eliminate Hamas forever and bring back the hostages.

ā€œHamas is inspired by the terrorist activity of the Iranian regime and, like it, aspires to attack Israeli, Jewish, and Western targets at any price,ā€ concluded the statement, promising to continue working together with the Defense Forces and security agencies from around the world to thwart further terrorist threats.
