A burst of at least 30 races was launched from Lebanon towards the city of Kiryat Shmona in northern Israel. The army made it known. Media reported that the Iron Dome intercepted some of the rockets while others hit sites in the city causing property damage. A 25-year-old person died after being pulled from a building in the industrial area. The attack – the media reported – was claimed by the Lebanese Hezbollah after Israel last night killed, during a night attack in southern Lebanon, a key member of the terrorist group Jamaa al-Islamiya who had promoted terrorist plots against Israeli territory in the past.
