Activists and families of Israeli hostages held in Gaza after the October 7 Hamas attacks, block the Ayalon highway in the coastal city of Tel Aviv, in Israel, accompanied by blow-ups of detained relatives, during a protest calling for their release. During the attack, Palestinian militants seized around 250 hostages, dozens of whom were released during a week-long truce in November. Israel believes 99 hostages are still alive in Gaza, along with the bodies of 32 other people.
