Jean-Luc Brunel, the former modeling agent accused of abuse in the Epstein case, commits suicide in prison

Jean-Luc Brunel, a well-known former model agent and talent scout, a friend of the American financier Jeffrey Epstein, who had founded the MC2 Model Management agency with him, was found dead in his cell. He announced the Paris prosecutor’s office, according to which he hanged himself. An investigation has been opened on the case.

Accused of rape by several former supermodels and arrested in December 2020 at Paris airport as he was about to board a flight to Dakar, the 70-year-old was indicted in late June 2021 for “rape of a child under 15”, charges that he rejected.
