Chavista National Assembly to Approve New Laws in 2024-2025 Period
Jorge Rodríguez, a prominent figure in the Chavista National Assembly, has revealed the laws that they intend to approve during the 2024-2025 period. This announcement was made during a meeting with Nicolás Maduro at the Miraflores Palace.
Rodríguez mentioned that they are planning to develop the anti-blockade law and implement the law of the communes, which have been under discussion in recent years. He stated, “We have a group of laws for this year in the AN. A law for digital commerce, a law for foreign investment in ‘times of aggression and economic war’, we want to develop the anti-blockade law.”
In addition to these laws, Rodríguez also highlighted the Law of Communes, which aims to streamline the process of creating communes. He also mentioned a non-oil export law, a renewable energy law, and a law for the defense of domestic animals.
Furthermore, Rodríguez indicated that the Chavista National Assembly will be carrying out the processes for the election of the new prosecutor, ombudsman, and comptroller. He expressed, “This year we have the processes for the election of the prosecutor of the Republic, the ombudsman, and the comptroller of the Republic.”
