Venezuelan Democratic Leader Juan Guaidó Responds to Chavista Threats
Democratic leader Juan Guaidó has fired back at Jorge Rodríguez, who ordered the Chavista leadership to investigate members of the National Assembly (AN) with an opposition majority elected in 2015. “The hysterical screams confirm what we have denounced: Maduro is a usurper, a vulgar dictator who persecutes and threatens,” Guaidó responded on social media. He also accused the current government of keeping the powers of the state hostage. Guaidó continued to demand answers, questioning the whereabouts of Tareck and the 23 billion, and when the election will take place.
