ALMATY – Six miners have died and two others are “serious conditions” after an explosion caused by a leak grisĆ¹ in a coal mine of ArcelorMittal in Kazakhstan. The company and the Ministry of Emergencies reported.
The explosion occurred in the coal mine Abaiskaya, managed by ArcelorMittal Temirtau, a Kazakh unit of the steel giant in the industrial region of Karaganda. At the time of the accident in the mine there were 64 people, 56 of whom managed to get out.
