According to the company, the failure of a major German customer and the corona pandemic have led to the Innviertler Kletzl Fleischwaren GmbH — known, among other things, for the snack sausage “Kletzerl” — from Wildenau now filing for insolvency.

As the Credit Protection Association of 1870 informs, the liabilities amount to around 5.6 million euros and there are 118 creditors. The insolvency – there should be a restructuring process without personal responsibility – affects 36 employees.

The restructuring plan offered to creditors is: There is a quota of 20 percent, of which five percent within four weeks of acceptance of the restructuring plan, a further ten percent within twelve months and five percent within 24 months of acceptance of the restructuring plan.

The company says that although production costs and personnel have been adjusted to developments, the increased costs for energy and raw materials have not been able to be passed on to end consumers.
