Koalas become endangered species in part of Australia

CANBERRA –  I koalanational symbol ofAustralia, they are officially an endangered species. The Canberra government takes the field to defend these marsupials by declaring an emergency in the eastern part of the country and recognizing that these animals are fighting for their survival against the impact of fires, droughts and diseases. Some experts have raised the alarm, convinced that the koala population has plummeted in the last two decades in the eastern areas of the country, setting the species towards extinction.
