It was burning in Rome tonight, and it will continue to burn! Lazio defeated Bayern Munich 1:0 at home, and the biggest culprit for that is Give Upamekan! The French stopper first made a big mistake in the first half of the game and gave Lazio a huge chance, but the Roman club did not take advantage of it, and then committed a foul for a penalty. Not only that Ciro Immobili scored a goal from that penalty and brought a 1:0 victory to his team, Upamekano already received a red card.
With one less player, the Bavarians couldn’t do much and they only managed a minimal defeat until the end, so they will have to pull the chestnuts out of the fire in the second leg in Munich.
In the second match of the evening, there were no surprises, so Paris Saint-Germain defeated Real Sociedad 2:0, although the victory did not come easily. The shooters for the “saints” were Kilijan Mbappe i Bradley Barkola in the second half.
