Laughter will also be banned on Amazon Prime in 2024: „LOL: Last One Laughing“ goes into the next round at Easter. Michael “Bully” Herbig is sending for the fifth time new participants together in the studio, where they can do anything – just not laugh.

Elyas M’Barek
You don’t need to explain much about him, he is probably well known to most people: Elyas M’Barek is one of the most successful actors in Germany. With films like “Fack ju Göhte” he became a mega star.

Ina Muller
Ina Müller is also a real giant in show business. The singer and presenter has released numerous albums and, among other things, has presented the late-night show “Inas Nacht” since 2007.
Otto Waalkes
Otto Waalkes is likely to be an absolute challenge for everyone. The 75-year-old is a living comedy legend. He has been an integral part of the entertainment industry since 1972. From his Ottifanten to his own Otto film to his recent number one hit thanks to Ski Aggu’s cover of “Friesenjung” – Otto is still one of the greats in his field.

Hazel Brugger
Hazel Brugger is a stand-up comedian who has been appearing on tour and on German TV with her programs for several years. In 2023 she was a participant in “Who will steal the show from me?” This is the third time she has attempted the not-laughing challenge.
Mirja Boes
The German comedian, actress and presenter Mirja Boes has long been an integral part of German television. She has already had her own comedy shows such as “Ich bin Boes” and was on the jury for “Grill den Henssler”.
Ralf Schmitz
He is also a real giant in the German comedy industry: Ralf Schmitz is not only a comedian, but also tried to play cupid as the presenter of “Take Me Out”. Since he moved from RTL to Sat.1, he has hosted new shows such as “Half Board at Schmitz”.
Michael Kessler
Actor and comedian Michael Kessler was once known for the film “Manta, Manta” and the comedy show “Switch”. Since then he has appeared regularly on screen.
Torsten Sträter
With him, a winner is returning to the “LOL” studio: comedian and cabaret artist Torsten Sträter took part in the first season of the comedy hit in 2021 and won. However, he shared the winnings with Tedros “Teddy” Teclebrhan.

The actress, presenter and comedienne is relatively unknown compared to the other participants, although she has also been working in the TV industry for many years. Meltem Kaptan has made various appearances in shows such as “Ladies Night” and was honored with the Silver Bear at the Berlinale in 2022 for her performance in the film “Rabiye Kurnaz vs. George W. Bush”.
