Luka Jovic he made great progress this winter in Milan and earned a call back to the national team. Although the selector Dragan Stojković Pixi “crossed out” him in the fall and told him that he had to do better, the former center forward of Real Madrid did what he had to do and started to play excellently.
After scoring eight goals for the Rossoneri, Pixi reversed his decision and called him up to the national team for the March games against Russia in Moscow (Thursday) and against Cyprus in Larnaca (Monday).

Luka Jović played for the Serbian national team at the World Cup in Russia 2018, as well as at the World Cup in Qatar 2022. This spring, he will be among the competitors for a place in the team that will go to the European Championship in June – the first for the Serbian team since the summer of 2000.
In the coming weeks, Jović’s fate in Milan will also be decided, where it has not yet been confirmed that he will stay beyond June. He arrived at the club last summer from Fiorentina without compensation, got into the rhythm at the end of the first part of the season and was very noticeable practically the whole winter. Now it is up to the giant from “San Siro” to decide whether to keep him.
