Chinanews.com, Macau, February 13th. The “Fuhushengweiweiqiang” 2022 Chinese New Year Float Parade, hosted by the Macao Government Tourism Office, was held in Macau on the evening of the 12th. Singers and Hong Kong artists performed, attracting a large number of people to watch.

Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office, Senna Fernandes, and Deputy Director Xu Yaoming, member of the Municipal Administration Committee of the Macao SAR Government, Lam Shao Yuan, and Deputy Director of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, Zhang Lai Shan, and other officials presided over the launching ceremony of the float show.

After the launching ceremony, with the help of a large-scale lion dance performance, a team of 14 floats set off from Sha Li Tau North Street and paraded to You Han Market Park. The audience waved and cheered to the float team along the way. Yeo Hon Market Park held the finale theatrical performance. Macau singer Koo Nao Man, group MFM, performance team, as well as Hong Kong entertainers Ma Dezhong and Chen Beier and other guests brought a series of wonderful performances to the audience.

It is reported that 14 floats will be exhibited at Tap Seac Square from February 13 to 20. The lighting installations of the floats will be lit from 6pm to 10pm every day.

In addition, the last Lunar New Year fireworks show in Macau will be held on February 15 at 9:00 p.m. at 9:00 p.m. on the seaside of the tourist tower, with the theme of “Lantern Festival Night”. And fireworks with special shapes such as stars. (Finish)
