Union Carl Berner held on for one innings, but in the end had to see themselves beaten on the artificial grass at Jordal. Magnus Riisnæs scored two goals, and was also responsible for the assist for Mees Rijks’ score.
The experts were greatly impressed by what the 19-year-old showed in the sunshine at Jordal.

After 25 minutes, Vålerenga had two great opportunities, but Union goalkeeper Erik Walcott kept his team in the game with solid saves, the last on Aleksander Hammer Kjelsen’s header from close range.
Ten minutes later, Walcott was again good when he stopped Jones El-Abdellaoui’s finish. Just before, Vålerenga’s midfielder Elias Hagen shot into the post in search of the game’s first score.
At the start of the 2nd half, Union came out with a lot of speed and created a few small chances, but Vålerenga quickly got the court game back on track, and after 51 minutes they got a hole in the hole. Rijks could easily walk the ball into the goal on a cross from Riisnæs.
A quarter of an hour later, Riisnæs won the ball high in the pitch before storming towards goal. There he had two chances before he put the ball in the corner and doubled the lead. Ten minutes before the end, Riisnæs scored again when he was played forward by Obasi Onyebuchi.
