Manchester United beat West Ham, 3-0, in a game counting for the 23rd round of the Premier League.
The team led by Erik Ten Hag opened the scoring in the first half, with a great goal from Rasmus Hojlund (23′). The Dane celebrated his birthday in the best way, getting rid of the opposing pressure with a great dribble and an even better shot to find Aréola’s net. In the second half, it was time for Alejandro Garnacho to shine with a brace (49′ and 84′), but before that Diogo Dalot prevented James Bowen’s equalizer with a great clearance.

The Portuguese winger would assist again, but this time with the goal scored by the scorer of the first goal (63′). At 80′, Malo Gusto brings down Matheus Cunha in the penalty area and the Brazilian native was unforgiving at the penalty spot (82′). Thiago Silva still reduced the score at 86, but did not avoid a defeat.
Thus, Wolverhampton (10th) overtakes Chelsea in the standings (11th), now having 32 points compared to Pochettino’s team’s 31.
Nuno Espírito Santo’s Nottingham Forest visited Bournemouth and drew 1-1.
