Iran supplied to Russia hundreds of powerful ballistic missiles earth-earth. The agency writes it Reuters citing six sources. These are around 400 missiles, many of them from the family of short-range ballistic weapons Fateh-110 like it Zolfaghar, three said Iranian sources. It is a missile capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 700 km. Shipments have begun at the beginning of January and a Tehran military officer said there had been at least four shipments which will be followed by others in the coming weeks. Another senior Iranian official said some of the missiles were sent to Russia by ship across the Caspian Sea, while others were transported by plane. “There will be more shipments,” a second Iranian official said. “There’s no reason to hide it. We can export weapons to any country we want.” The Iranian Defense Ministry and the Revolutionary Guards declined to comment, and the Russian Defense Ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A Ukrainian military source told Reuters that Kiev has so far not detected any use of Iranian ballistic missiles.
