For many New Yorkers Giovanna “Gennie” Gambale was the face of the 9/11 attacks. Her happy smile shone on the walls on the flyer announcing her disappearance, next to the words “We need your help”, a phone number and some useful information to recognize her. A writer in the Guardian claims it was the first flyer that day.
