Myanmar, Aung San Suu Kyi sentenced to six years in prison

A Myanmar military-run court sentenced leader Aung San Suu Kyi to six years in prison after finding her guilty in four corruption cases.

Suu Kyi, 77, was convicted of misusing funds from the DawKhin Kyi Foundation – an organization she founded to promote health and education – to build a house and rent government-owned land in a discounted rate.
