The episode is currently the latest in several violent episodes around the subway system in New York. Earlier this month, the governor of the state, Kathy Hochul, announced that she is sending in the National Guard and state police to improve security on the subway.
But barely two weeks had passed from Hochul’s announcement until a fight on a subway train ended in a shooting.
Earlier this month, a woman (29) also had to have both legs amputated after her boyfriend allegedly pushed her off a platform, reports NBC News.
