North Korea launches intercontinental missile into Japanese waters. Tokyo riots: “Unacceptable”

North Korea has launched an ICBM. The launch ended in the sea west of Oshima-Oshima island in Hokkaido prefecture, the Japanese coast guard said.

According to the South Korean military, the missile would have started from a base near Pyongyang. An ICBM is North Korea’s longest-range weapon, designed to carry a nuclear warhead and capable of striking the United States as well.

For the Japanese prime minister, the launch of a missile by North Korea “is absolutely unacceptable”
