Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially appointed Democratic Party Chairman Agus Harimurthi Yudhoyono (AHY) as Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR) or Head of the National Land Agency (BPN), Wednesday (21/2/2024).
He replaces Hadi Tjahjanto who will be appointed and occupy a new position as Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Human Rights (Menko) Polhukam, which was previously filled by Mahfud MD.

Before moving to politics, the son of the 2004-2014 President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, was a military officer. Then he entered the world of politics as chairman of the Democratic Party.
AHY’s name became known to the public when he ran for governor of DKI Jakarta in the 2017 regional elections. At that time he was paired with Sylviana Murni.
