Pop singer Adele is coming to Germany for four concerts in the summer. On August 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th, the 35-year-old Brit will appear in an arena specially created for her on the grounds of the Munich Trade Fair, the Live Nation agency announced on Wednesday. The four performances were the only shows in Europe, it was said.
According to organizers, it is the first time that Adele has appeared on mainland Europe since 2016. “I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend my summer (…),” wrote Adele on her Instagram account. In Munich she will get a “unique, tailor-made pop-up stadium, exactly for the show that I want to present.”
According to the agency, the arena on the Munich exhibition grounds offers space for around 80,000 music fans per concert. Registration to purchase tickets is now possible and starts for registered fans on February 7th. Normal advance sales are scheduled to begin on February 9th.
