As announced, demonstrators from the Action Group for Palestine in Trondheim have gathered outside the Trondheim Spektrum where the Melodi Grand Prix final will be held on Saturday evening.
– We will stand and have a silent demonstration outside Trondheim Spektrum, to remind the public of the ongoing genocide Israel is committing in Gaza, spokeswoman Margrethe Guldal Einarson told The daily newspaper Friday.

The activists’ goal is for NRK to do more to get Israel boycotted from Eurovision and the Israeli public broadcaster MAY be banned by the European Broadcasting Union EBU, according to Dagsavisen.
Israel’s planned participation has also resulted in a major artist uprising, including Åge Aleksandersen who has signed.
“We cannot stand passively and watch as a country that commits gross war crimes against an imprisoned people is invited to a joint celebration of music, diversity and unity. We strongly urge NRK to stand up for the exclusion of Israel from this year’s Eurovision,” it says, among other things.
