Paul Pogba tested positive for the hormone Dhea, according to several reports in the European press; This occurred after last season he had a knee injury that even kept him from participating in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and a football year in which he barely played 10 games and 161 minutes in total.

The French midfielder, who will turn 31 on March 15, seems to put an end to a career in which he became a protagonist on the pitch not only with Juventus, where he stood out the most, but also as a Manchester United player.

In the 2023-2024 season, Paul Pogba only played two games for a total of 52 minutes, after facing Empoli and Bologna within the Italian Calcio and without goals involved. The footballer is expected to file an appeal before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne.

The Juventus French offensive player spoke on his personal Instagram account with a text in which he responds to the result that was against him due to doping and said that he will appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

“I am sad, surprised and heartbroken because everything I have built in my career as a professional player has been taken from me. When I am free of legal restrictions, the full story will become clear, but I have never knowingly or deliberately taken any supplement that violates anti-doping rules.

“As a consequence of the decision announced today, I will appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport,” reported the player who is about to turn 31 years old and who was sanctioned with a four-year suspension.
