The Ministry of Education (MEC) made available, this Wednesday, March 20, the new version of the Student Journey application. With the update, the tool now presents information about the Pé-de-Meia program, such as guidelines regarding high school savings, as well as details about eligibility for the program and payment of installments. The new version of the application is available on the Google Play and App Store platforms.

In Student Journey, the user will be able to consult information such as: program service channels, participation in the program, payment status and payment calendars. At this first moment, the list of Pé-de-Meia beneficiaries is not definitive, considering that the information is being updated by municipal, state and district education networks. This could result in the inclusion of new students enrolled in the public education network. Students can monitor status updates on the app, as the MEC consolidates the data sent by the education departments.

Student Journey – Launched in June 2022, the Student Journey app was developed by the MEC as an integral part of the federal government’s Digital Transformation program. In the same year, the platform received recognition when it was awarded 1st place in the “Best Citizen-Oriented Digital Government Solution” category of the 10th ABEP-TIC Award for Excellence in Digital Government 2022. Student Journey is considered a revolution in the scenario Brazilian educational system, offering direct and free digital communication between the MEC and students across the country.
