Persija Jakarta lost 0-1 to Madura United in the 25th week of Liga 1 this season. Riski Afrisal’s single goal was the difference between the two teams.

Madura United broke the deadlock in the 86th minute. Through a corner kick, Riski Afrisal welcomed the wild ball then fired a shot which was deflected before breaking into Andritany’s goal. The 1-0 score lasted until the end.

The additional three points made Madura United move up to fifth in the standings with 39 points. Meanwhile, Persija is in ninth position with 32 points.

Meanwhile at Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul, Yogyakarta, Arema FC successfully silenced RANS Nusantara 3-2. Singo Edan’s three goals were scored by Charles Lokolingoy in the 17th and 22nd minutes and Gilbert Alvarez in the 86th minute.

Meanwhile, RANS could only reply through Mitsuru Marouka in the 58th and 89th minutes. In this match, the referee issued three red cards. Two for RANS players, namely Kiko and Hilmansyah. Meanwhile, one for Arema was received by Falbio Soares in the 88th minute.
