The hospital service business (30 percent of sales) is to be handed over to the majority owner of Vamed, Fresenius. The international project business (“Health Tech Engineering”) will “gradually and orderly reduced“. This process should be “largely completed by 2026. Current project contracts are fulfilled. The international project business did last around 15 percent of Vamed sales. “We are striving for socially acceptable solutions for the affected employees,” said Vamed boss Klaus Schuster.
