Management PSM Makassar respond to registration sanctions or prohibitions on carrying out player transfer activities from FIFA.
Based on the FIFA website, PSM Makassar will officially receive a registration ban starting April 12 2024.
“Regarding the news circulating regarding sanctions for player transfers to PSM, we would like to convey that PSM appreciates the process that has been implemented by FIFA,” said PSM Makassar Media Officer, Sulaeman Abdul Karim, Tuesday (16/4).

Sule, his nickname, confirmed that PSM’s condition this season had a dispute over the settlement of obligations related to player evaluation in the last second round.
“Now it’s resolved on progress,” he said.
PSM management emphasized that they remain committed to this problem being resolved before the 2024-2025 transfer market opens.
“What is certain is that management is committed that this problem will be resolved before the 2024/2025 transfer market opens so that it does not interfere with PSM’s readiness to compete in the coming season,” he concluded.
Apart from PSM, PSS Sleman was also subject to sanctions from FIFA, thereby increasing the number of League 1 clubs affected by these sanctions.
FIFA has punished five Indonesian clubs in total, namely Persija Jakarta, Persiraja Banda Aceh, Persikab Bandung Regency, Sada North Sumatra FC and Persiwa Wamena. The five Indonesian clubs received a registration ban.
