Qatargate: Cozzolino and Tarabella offices searched

New raid by the Belgian police on the EU Parliament in the context of the Qatargate investigation. According to what has been learned by ANSA, the investigating judge Michel Claise presented himself this morning, accompanied by some plainclothes agents, in the offices of the MEPs under investigation Andrea Cozzolino and Marc Tarabella. The searches are still ongoing. According to reports from internal sources, the action should lead to the revocation of the seals for Tarabella – released on May 9 after 3 months of preventive detention -, while the investigators are questioning Cozzolino’s collaborators, under house arrest in Naples since February.
