The estimate is that approximately 24.5 million workers will receive the salary bonus in 2024, representing a total disbursement of R$23.9 billion. Caixa is responsible for paying PIS, and Banco do Brasil, for Pasep.

Who is entitled to PIS/Pasep 2024?

O The value of the benefit will depend on how long the person worked with a formal contract in the base year. The year 2022 is considered, due to a delay in the PIS/Pasep calendar due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

But only those entitled to the benefit are workers with an average salary of up to two minimum wages.

If you worked during the 12 months of 2022, you will receive the full amount, which is one national minimum wage. If you worked for just one month, for example, you will receive the equivalent of 1/12 of the minimum wage, and so on.

According to the Ministry of Labor, in addition, to be entitled to the salary bonus, the worker must have been informed by the employer in the Annual Social Information List (Rais) by May 10, 2023, and in eSocial by December 5 2023. After that, payment will only be made in the next fiscal year.

Among those who are not entitled to payment of the bonus are domestic employees, rural and urban workers employed by an individual and workers employed by an individual.

How to consult PIS/Pasep 2024?

The schedule runs from February 15th to August 15th, according to the worker’s date of birth (PIS) or registration number (Pasep). The values ​​will be available until December 27, 2024.
