Rebel Wilson, (44) known from the “Pitch Perfect” films, reveals details of a personal incident that will be included in her upcoming memoir “Rebel Rising”.
In an exclusive interview with PeopleWilson openly reflects on when and how she lost her virginity.
Tried to hide it
She admits that she previously felt embarrassed by the subject and tried to avoid it.
– Usually I would just leave the room when those conversations were taking place, she says.
But now she wants to be open and honest about her experiences.
The 44-year-old lost her virginity just under ten years ago, at the age of 35.
– In my memoir, I wanted to include this part of my life because I think it’s important to remind people that life has no set timeline, Wilson says.
– You can wait until you are ready, whatever your age. It is never too late to take important steps in your life.
Changed “file”
She defines herself as a “late bloomer” and admits that she believes her journey with sexuality would have been different if she had been born later.
– It’s amazing, if I had been born 20 years later, I probably would have explored my sexuality more, she tells the magazine.
Although Wilson was previously attracted to men, she has later opened up to feelings for women.
Wilson is now with Ramona Agruma, and the couple got engaged in 2023. Together they have a daughter, Royce, who they had via surrogate in 2022.
