This Monday, the 19th, Renault revealed the prices of the Kardian, its compact SUV that will hit the market in the second half of March. The entry-level version of the model produced in Paraná, called Evolution, will cost from R$ 112,790.00.
Renault will offer three versions of the new SUV, all with the new TCe 1.0 turbo flex engine with 125 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque and six-speed automatic transmission: in addition to the Evolution itself, the Techno and Première Edition. The intermediate and top of the range have suggested prices starting from R$ 122,990.00 and R$ 132,790.00.
According to Aldo Costa, marketing director at Renault, the Kardian will have the Fiat Pulse and Volkswagen Nivus as its main competitors. But, he assesses, it should gain the attention of consumers due to the greater offer of safety and comfort series content, in addition to the bold design.
From the entry-level Evolution option, for example, six airbags, speed controller and limiter, hill start assistant, rear parking sensors and reversing camera, tire pressure monitoring, 7” digital cluster and 8” multimedia are now available. ″, paddle-shift, digital air conditioning, LED headlights and light signature, start-stop system and functional roof rails.
The intermediate Techno adds automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, 17″ alloy wheels, elevated console, superior material coverings, remote start and a two-tone roof.
The top of the line Première also has adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning, 360-degree camera, economical, sporty and personalized driving mode options and, among other refinements, customization of interior lighting.
The automaker is already opening pre-sales for the model today, but only for customers registered in the My Kardian Now community, opened in October last year, when the vehicle was initially presented. For anyone else interested, only this Tuesday, 20th, from 3pm.
