The Mayor’s Office of Medellín reported this Tuesday the new provisions for the peak and plate measure, which will take effect as of Monday, February 5, 2024. Likewise, it reported the roads that will be exempt from the measure. These are:
The River Road System, composed of the South Highway, Regional Avenue and Paralela Avenue, in addition to Las Palmas Avenue and 33rd Avenue (from the river to its connection with Las Palmas). Likewise the cl. 10 (from the river to the Terminal del Sur and its connection with the Enrique Olaya Herrera airport), the sides of the La Iguaná ravine (between Carreras 63 and 80), the northern road of the Horacio Toro bridge, between the loops that allow make the return to the south. It is important to emphasize that the townships of Medellín will also be free of this vehicle restriction.

For this Wednesday, January 31, 2023, the peak and license plate measure in Medellín follows the current scheme, which establishes that vehicles with license plates ending in numbers 4 and 6 will not be able to circulate, and the same applies to two-wheeled motorcycles. and four times whose plates begin with the numbers 4 and 6. The restriction hours continue to be from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
This is the rotation that will be in effect this week, taking into account that in cars it is applied based on the last digit of the license plate and in motorcycles based on the first digit:
Wednesday, January 31: 4 and 6.
Thursday, February 1: 5 and 9.
Friday, February 2: 8 and 2.
