In the quarter-final first leg of the Asian C1, the Portuguese and his teammates lost on the Al-Ain field (0-1).
Al Nassr’s season is starting to become very complicated. Fallen in the championship (2nd, 9 points behind the leader), Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammates are not making things easy in the Asian Champions League either. Facing the Al-Ain team, coached by Hernan Crespo, the Al-Nassr players lost away (0-1) on Monday evening.
Aymeric Laporte has been excluded and will therefore miss the return match which will take place on March 11. Even though they created more chances than their evening opponents, Sadio Mané and the Al Nassr attackers failed to find the net and are now condemned to turn the situation around next week.
