According to recent estimates by the Federation of American Scientists, Moscow has the largest nuclear arsenal in the world, with 5,977 warheads. While the United States would have 5,428. According to the Federation of American Scientists, Russia may have 1,912 ordnance of this type, but this figure may contain weapons that are retired or in the process of being retired. Nuclear warheads are deadly weapons, and even the least powerful ones are capable of killing thousands and thousands of people and making an area unlivable for many years.
